About the Products
CH78 Mama Bear Chair & CH78 Neck Pillow
The CH78 lounge chair, known by the nickname Mama Bear, was designed in 1954 by Hans J. Wegner as a successor to the CH71 chair (1952). While the mainstream design of lounge chairs at the time was stately and imposing, the Mama Bear chair’s light and graceful silhouette created by the warm curves became a significant feature. The unique form from bodily mixed curves and various shapes, refined details such as the wooden panel of the armrests, and lightness are all seen in this design.
Furthermore, the ergonomic design gives this chair the utmost comfort, supporting the neck, back, and body gently and firmly. The flam, arms, and legs are made of solid wood certified by FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). In addition, the neck pillow (headrest) is available as an option.

CH445 Wing Chair & CH446 Footstool
The CH445 Wing Chair is a lounge chair that showcases Hans J. Wegner’s unique talent and aesthetic sense.
The craftsmanship that can be seen at first glance and the details that can be felt more and more as it is used are both excellent.
The CH446 footstool is made of solid beachwood and stainless steel.
Despite its light and agile form, it has high durability and can be used across generations.
It is an ideal footstool for the masterpieces of lounge chairs designed by Hans J. Wegner, such as the CH445 Wing Chair and the CH468 Oculus Chair.
The legs of both chairs are made of stainless steel.
