“SIAL Shanghai 2023”, Asia’s largest international food and beverage exhibition
SIAL Shanghai, Asia’s largest international food and beverage exhibition, will be held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre from May 18 to 20, 2023. 180,000 square meters of exhibition area will host more than 4,500 exhibitors and 150,000 industry professionals from all around the world, and various products and services.

Eight New Highlighted Sectors in SIAL Shanghai 2023
In addition to the previous areas for national and regional pavilions, the 2023 SIAL Shanghai will have the following eight new highlighted sectors. Eight new sectors have been added to this year’s event: Baby food Village, Organic & Wellness Village, Dairy Sector, Non-alcoholic Beverage Sector, Food Sector, Meat Poultry & Cured Meat Sector, Seafood Sector, and Alcoholic Beverage Sector, which will enhance the matching between exhibitors and visitors.
SIAL Global Food Industry Summit
The SIAL Global Food Industry Summit, which will be held concurrently with SIAL Shanghai 2023, will consist of nine forums with experts from various industries, where the latest technologies, various issues, and future prospects will be presented, along with the opportunity to ask questions.
The nine forums include: Food-Tech Innovation Forum, International Meat Forum, Import Food Summit, Global New Retail Forum, Food Supply Chain Forum, F&B Investment Forum, China Catering Forum, F&B Distributor Forum and International Drink Forum.

SIAL was founded in Paris, France in 1964 as a food exhibition, and was first held in China in 2000 as “SIAL China”. SIAL Shanghai is held in May and SIAL Shenzhen in August each year. The organizer, Comexposium, is an event company based in Paris, France, that organizes a variety of international events in more than 30 countries.
